The career of Miko Mission began at a young age, performing as a singer in a comedy represented by Alessandria, Gelindo at age seven. At age fourteen, Miko formed his first band 'I passi per la Musica', later renamed 'Oscars'. "I Like Chopin" was an internationally successful single sung by Gazebo and produced in Italy in 1983 by Pierluigi Giombini. It is generally regarded as one of the most significant Italo disco tracks of the mid-1980s. The funny thing was that I brought to him to listen songs from me, but singing in Italian by me and he said: "I am doing only English" and he let me hear "Masterpiece" and also "You Are A Danger", number two and five in the Italian chart at that moment. I remained folgorated by the sounds and the melodies of Giombini and I said to him: "I will bring you one of my English songs".
