Being the follow-up single to the massively successful "Encore Une Fois", a lot was riding on this next Sash! release. The single was just as successful, and reached number 2 in the UK Singles Chart. "9 PM (Till I Come)" was the first song to feature the sound of a pitched guitar, which was so striking for the first singles to be released as ATB. Apparently Tanneberger was fooling around with his studio-equipment, while he was showing someone around. He liked the sound so much that it became his trademark, and a worldwide dance hit. Like previous releases, the UK version of the single removed all of the raps from Raymond Slijngaard, leaving just Anita Dels' vocals. One word from the rap was kept, the word 'Techno' which was looped and repeated during the middle of the song, turning the line into "Techno! Techno! Techno!
