80s ReCovered is an ambitious project that brings back to the studio, the artists and producers who masterminded the most iconic hits of the decade, this time to record a classic song from any other era, produced in an 80s style, carefully chosen by the artist for this album. Written by Neil Sedaka& Howard Greenfield. Included in the album of the same name. The song was originally recorded by Sedaka but it didn’t became, when Captain & Tennille recorded it and reached number 1 in the US becoming the best-selling single of the year. A compilation album comprises tracks which are compiled from other recordings, usually previously released, but sometimes unreleased. The tracks may be from one or several performers; if from several performers there may be a theme, topic or genre which links the tracks.
