Johnny, Johnny Come Home is a song recorded by Norwegian band Avalanche. It was their debut single and can be considered as its signature song. Released in March it helped launch the band career achieving a smash success in France where it topped the chart and also in Norway was a top three hit, but its sales remained minimal in other countries. Dirty Diana received mixed reviews from contemporary music critics, but was a commercial success worldwide. The song also charted within the top ten in multiple countries, including the United Kingdom, France, New Zealand. Dirty Diana was the fifth and final Hot number one single from Bad. Near the end of recording the album Hysteria, during a production break, lead singer Joe Elliott was jamming with a riff he had come up with two weeks earlier on an acoustic guitar.
