The prestigious Spanish label Blanco Y Negro has entrusted Fred Ventura with the task of producing the first volume of the series Disco Futuro. The Cd1 collects fourteen tracks neo Italo disco and Synth-pop that best represent the contemporary European scene. The Cd2, mixed by Sergi Elias, contains the same tracks plus two bonus tracks. Fred Ventura: Federico Di Bonaventura! Disco Futuro displays a variety of stylistic content of the material, that is, will be, and perhaps will be, just a discovery. This style/scene is said to have been named by ZYX Records boss Bernhard Mikulski to market licensed releases and numerous compilations, although not always strictly Italian productions.
