On Live In Slovenia, the veteran UK DJ shows that he has moved with the times. Instead of his dense progressive house, the main sound on this collection is tool house. This being Digweed however, there are many unexpected twists and turns. Dubspeeka's "Bully" resounds to a stepping rhythm and tripped out vocals, the Rodriguez Junior remix of Sebo K's "Scenario" sees lush strings sequenced into shrill high-frequency tones that screech into a wild climax, while Daniel Dexter's "Raw Land" is a dubby, drum-heavy workout. This being Digweed however, there are surprises along the way, the most notable being the tranced out house of Petrichor's "On Tides", which is reminiscent of early Luciano.
