Four electro fictions by Germany's Robert Witchschakowski aka The Exaltics, plus a rugged remix by Chris Jarman's Kamikaze Space Programme. 'Muted World' perhaps adopts a darker, grittier aesthetic than preceding episodes for Bunker, Crème Organization et al, evident in the overdriven bass of 'Every Beginning Has An End' and the tetchy syncopation of 'Second Phases', balanced with the emotive redemption of ' Muted World''s sci-fi atmospheres and the arpeggiated symphonics of closer, 'Broken'. In the hands of KSP 'Second Phase' is reinforced with bruising, skipping bass drums and snagging acid licks ready for a warehouse rave on Mars.
