As the twin-track "The World Turns" EP hit the airwaves, Scott Andrews stock rose higher still, fuelled by support from the world's finest DJs and propelled subsequently with a clutch of further material that has lit up the underground dance scene. Now "The World Turns" again to Proton Music; once more accompanied by thematic artwork from Ben Mautner, two new remixes are commissioned from an established legend and a label debutant.

Learning to play the electric guitar and influenced by the sounds of Pink Floyd's progressive rock, David Calo's lifelong interest in music soon blossomed into a passion for dance music after hearing fellow Argentinean, Hernan Cattaneo, behind the decks at local clubs. Discontented by being only a passive attendee, a collaborative partnership with Rominezco resulted in a series of parties under the "Brain Damage" banner which has seen the young producer from Buenos Aries playing clubs such as Pacha, Crobar and Cocoliche throughout his homeland.

A production career that began in earnest in 2012 has seen a score of releases featured on a range of high-profile imprints. The "Slowly" and "Video Games" EPs for the Axon and Per-vurt imprints, combined with remixes of Simon Firth for Vice Versa and Che Armstrong for Nueva Deep, have already showcased Calo's talent. Marking his debut on Proton Music, David Calo's remix of "The World Turns" provides a deep and languid rhythmic backdrop on which a series of richly texture pads preside. As it develops, his clever interpretation sees the gradual evolution of melodic themes so prevalent in Scotty.A's original, resolve to impressive new conclusion. Australian Matt Rowan's recent flourish of activity, after hiatus to recharge his creative batteries, has provided much sustenance to Proton family labels. An established producer, DJ and collaborative talent with fellow Australian, Jaytech, has led Rowan to a string of hits and high profile releases on such luminary imprints as Hope, Renaissance and Curvve.

Supported by a galaxy of international superstar DJs from James Zabiela to Armin van Buuren, his own notoriety behind the decks at events such as Sydney's leading progressive house night, SweetChilli, alongside Chris Fortier, Anthony Pappa and Steve Porter, have cemented Rowan's reputation amongst the Australian musical elite. A wealth of new material for both Proton Music and Particles has seen the recent releases of the "Why Do You Love Me?" and "Cantstandya" EPs received to critical acclaim, while 2012's "Basics" album firmly established Rowan as a creative talent of rare originality and proflicacy. Turning his talents towards Scotty.A, Matt Rowan's remix of "Nothing As It Seems" immediately provides a 'doffed cap' of approval as the percussive groove of the original mix is inherently felt. Before long, Rowan's unique dance floor credentials shine through as a bouncing, bulging bass line is established, allowing thickly detuned pads to dominate as they hold a gated sway, captive against the trademark melodic inventiveness that forces its way into his work.

Two new remixes from David Calo and Matt Rowan have seen Scotty.A shift into orbit as "The World Turns" once more.
