The Navy contacted group manager Henri Belolo to use the song in a recruiting advertising campaign for television and radio. Let The Music Play is a song by American singer Shannon. The song was the first of Shannons four 1s on the US Dance chart, reaching the top spot. The song also became a huge crossover hit, peaking on the soul chart and 8 on the US Singles Chart. Feels Like I'm in Love was a number-one hit in the UK Singles Chart for two weeks for Kelly Marie. Written by Ray Dorset of Mungo Jerry, the song was originally intended for Elvis Presley but he died before it could be pitched to him.
