Behind the project was euro disco record producer Luis Rodriguez, better known for his work with Modern Talking and C. C. Catch, with songwriter-producer Reinhardt Frantz. The groups image revolved around the sexy dichotomy of a sultry blonde and brunette. Oceans of Fantasy is the fourth studio album by Boney M. Released in September, Oceans Of Fantasy became the second Boney M. album to top the UK charts. Written by Frank Dostal and Rolf Soja, and produced by Soja, this standard disco song was a major hit across Europe and became the duos sole number one single in the UK, spending a single week at the top in October. It did not chart in the United States, despite receiving airplay in several markets. It is one of the best-selling singles of all time, with an estimated total of 18 million units.
